As summer is here, now is a good time to check the physical condition of your cooling towers to ensure continual efficient operation during the cooling season. Inspect the Water Distribution System. Inspect the water distribution system when the fan motor is turned off and pump is open. On forced draft units , remove one or two drift eliminator blocks from the top of the unit and observe the operation of the water distribution system.
