As a leading brewery in Malaysia, the company ranks among the two major players dominating the local beer market. Boasting a market share of over 50%, strong brand equity, and a fully integrated supply chain, it serves as a key driver in the beer industry both within Malaysia and across Southeast Asia.

Recently, EVAPCO carried out an upgrade and retrofit on non-EVAPCO equipment that had been in long-term operation at a major brewery in Malaysia.

These three units serve on the beer production line. Their coils were found to be severely corroded. After an investigation, the improper water treatment likely caused localized corrosion and leaks in the coils. Ammonia leaked from the coils and dissolved into the circulating water, further accelerating corrosion of the coils. This posed significant risks to production stability and personnel safety at the factory.

The three condensers were arranged side by side in a compact configuration, with the lower sections located indoors and the upper sections on the roof, making replacement of the entire equipment extremely difficult.

Moreover, the factory doesn’t have a spare condenser, any unplanned downtime could result in significant economic losses for the company.

He understood the customer's “headache” and introduced EVAPCO Mr. GoodTower service center and non-Evapco parts replacement services. 

A/P aftermarket team acted promptly and collaborated closely with Rankine for site inspections and measurements and offered a competitive quotation to the customer.
