Putting Green Commitment into Action:
EVAPCO at AmCham Earth Day
On April 24, 2026, EVAPCO actively responded to the 57th Earth Day by participating in the annual Electronic Waste Regeneration Action jointly organized by AmCham Shanghai and the Netspring Green IT Program, donating used computers and other electronic devices to contribute to environmental protection.
About Netspring:The Netspring team uses all received electronic devices to support the Netspring Green IT Classroom Project, building green computer classrooms for schools and communities in need, turning them into essential digital teaching tools and providing more people with learning opportunities.
This event aims to collect idle computers and electronic devices from companies. After sorting and processing by the Netspring team, reusable equipment is refurbished into digital teaching tools to help schools lacking IT resources build green computer classrooms. Non-reusable equipment undergoes environmentally sound disposal, effectively reducing environmental pollution from e-waste. According to statistics, the Netspring Green IT Program has provided digital learning opportunities to over 78,000 students, and more than 120 tons of e-waste have been either reused or disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
